Outdoor seating for a countryside terrace
Finally packed up and left the constant noise of Birmingham for a quiet spot in the countryside. We saved up for ages, sold the city-centre flat and bought a proper house with some land out in the sticks. It is honestly life-changing. The air is crisp and the views are so grand they make your heart race every time you look out at the hills. There is a small terrace attached to the house and the plan is to sit there with a morning brew while watching the sunrise. I am after some furniture, maybe a couple of sturdy chairs or armchairs, just to sit and relax while I soak it all in. Where should I be looking for decent outdoor bits in the UK?
Moving out to the sticks is a bold move but definitely worth it for the peace. Birmingham is alright for a night out but living there is a whole different story. You will want furniture that survives the rain and stays intact. Metal or treated wood is usually the way to go to avoid buying new ones every summer.
There is nothing like a quiet morning when the scenery is that good. I reckon having a proper spot to sit makes a huge difference when you are trying to relax. Check out some garden chairs here: https://rengard.co.uk/product-category/garden-outdoor-chairs/ . The selection is pretty good for that country house look. You can find something that looks great and actually survives the winter. It makes the whole terrace feel more like a proper room where you can just hang out.
