Tamfourhill Community Hub & TTRO

Built for the Community by the Community

About imageAbout image
Tamfourhill Community Hub SCIO is operated on a not-for-profit basis and, and is a registered charity with OSCR Scottish charity regulator. (Charity No: sco49295) We support Tamfourhill in every way we can, with the objective of improving and protecting community life.

The Hub is managed by the Hub Committee all of which are volunteers. The Committee is responsible for the bookings, maintenance, marketing, financial management and security of the Hub.

We would be delighted to welcome any volunteers who would like to help with the management of the Hub. If you have any free time and would like to be involved, then please get in touch.

We regularly host a variety of community functions including classes, pantomimes, Dinners and fun days. The Tamfourhill Hub space can be utilized in several ways  and we would be delighted to discuss accommodating almost all community events. The hall boasts a complete range of services for your function including soft play and inflatable hire. Contact us for up to date let prices.

Tamfourhill Tenants and Residents Organisation (TTRO) are a group of local people who work together to represent the views of all tenants and homeowners within the area and help make it a better place to live.

The TTRO work in partnership with other community and statutory organisations to help create positive change within the local area.

The TTRO were awarded the TPAS Scotland award for “Best practice in Developing Communities: Opportunities to be involved” in 2018. In 2019, they were also awarded the “Celebrating Communities Award” in recognition of all the work they carry out within the local area.

The Our Place project was a 3 year funded project to build stronger connections in Camelon and Tamfourhill, working alongside local people & organisations to bring about positive, lasting change. The project was funded by the National Lottery Community Fund until April 2023 and was managed by the Tamfourhill Tenants and Residents Organisation.
The Our Place Camelon and Tamfourhill Project officially comes to an end on the 5th May 2023, however the Tamfourhill Tenants and Residents Organisation are very happy and excited to be launching the new #SaferStreetsYouthActionProject. This Project has been developed directly from the community safety work that has taken place through the Our Place Project. The SSYAP aims to work with young people across Tamfourhill, Camelon and Bantaskin to encourage youth led community action throughout the area. The SSYAP will reflect the aspirations and interests of local young people and will continue to be aligned to the local communities priorities. We will in the short term continue to support ongoing areas of community safety work.
These specific areas of community safety work will remain relevant but will become refocused as our attentions are more concentrated on delivering a successful new youth project over the next three years. The SSYAP has been funded until spring 2026 by the National lottery Community Fund Young Start Programme along with the Falkirk Community Schools Fund.
