What upgrades actually make a difference on the Commander?
Every rider has their own list of “must-have” accessories, but I’ve noticed not all upgrades live up to the hype. That’s why I want to ask Commander owners—when it comes to Can Am Commander accessories, which ones actually improve performance or comfort, and which feel like wasted money?
Do cab enclosures really make year-round riding better, or do they just get too hot in summer? How about upgraded seats did you feel a real difference after switching? For protection, are full skid plates necessary, or can you get by with just partial coverage?
Storage is another area I’m torn on. Do you prefer a simple cargo box, or is a rack system more versatile? And for hunting setups, are bed gun racks sturdier than interior options?
I’ve seen the StarKnightMT website recommended a few times for Can Am Commander accessories, especially for riders who want durability. Have you personally tested their gear, and how did it hold up over time?
Which accessories do you regret buying, and which ones would you absolutely recommend to every Commander rider?
